At what age are you planning to take the pics?  If it's a brand new newborn, I suggest keeping your setting very warm to keep baby relaxed and sleeping.  I personally love nudie baby butts and you could do different poses of baby laying on mom and dad.  Have mom and dad wear dark colors to contrast against the little baby's skin.  Different pose ideas are:

  • Have baby lay on mom/dad's arms outstretched
  • Cup baby in hands and take a shot from the front
  • Lay baby on something soft and plush and take an arieal shot
  • If mom's nursing, take some nursing pics.
  • Hand mom and dad's wedding rings from baby's toes
  • If it's around xmas, you can put baby in a large stocking

I am not home right now, but when I am I will edit this to show you some examples
