Hello moms ~ I'm looking to buys a new camera and need help deciding which is the best for me. I take "mom" shots of my kids - need to have a good zoom (superzoom?) for my kids sporting events, needs to have good action shot ability. Would like to spend less than $400. Thanks in advance!
Back in the day, my fave "mom" camera was my Kodak Z612! It's got an amazing zoom. I did a lot of moon shots with it. Very good detail (with tripod).

my first camera before I got into photography was a canon Sx 20is.. and I LOVED it.. It had a super zoon and took excellent close up photos of the moon!
