This one is not state related, but a friend passed it on to me - www.intellitools.com. I'm not sure if you want this type of info posted here, but this is information on a computer program that is research based and has been wonderful for many kids I know.
For Illinois - here are some things I've found www.autismillinois.com - great links, and general information. http://www.illinoisautismproject.org/mailinglist/default.asp http://www.rampcil.org/ - this is county specific, but great for advocates, and other resources. http://www.autismone.org/radio/ - ok this one was a radio show that looked awesome but the most recent show ended today. http://www.autismlink.com/ - check this out for finding an advocate in your area in Illinois http://www.illinoislifespan.org/links/index.asp?LSID=11 - all kinds of Illinois related resources. Last one I have is not at all related to Illinois. But did you know you can get a professional development certificate in Autism through Penn State? I was amazed. I think it should be required in all states, I found this while browsing the web earlier this year. http://www.ed.psu.edu/news/autismcert.asp Dina - I hope this is the type of information that you were hoping for at this site - let me know if I'm off base. Oops! On the autism link website I posted, it's not completely Illinois specific. You can actually find lots of stuff there, with some links to Illlinois related content. Sorry!
