Using Anis seeds

As salamu alaikum wa rahamatullah wa barakatu sisters,

 

I was wondering if anyone uses Anis seeds and how they use them?  I just rencently bought some through an internet Herb store and would like to get some ideas on how to use them.  Any kind of recipe would be appreciated, it doesn't have to be Middle Eastern.  Insha'Allah
