This is an experiment to get some variety of soups in my kitchen ;)
You need:
4-5 cups of water
1 handful chicken meat (bony or not bony)
1 middle size chopped onion
1 cup urid lentils (white lentils)
1/2 cup vermicelli
1 Tbsp parsley
1 clove garlic
1/4 tsp turmeric
salt to taste (or a broth cube)
lemon juice

First thing to do is soak lentils overnight fully covered by water - they'll soften & grow a little.
Cook chicken meat with some water in a covered pan for 10 min, add chopped onion & salt (broth), cover & cook on low heat for 10 min, add garlic, all requiered water & proceed cooking till you see lentils ready (if you want mushy lentils, start cooking them before you add onion - add all requiered water together with lentils then), add vermicelli, simmer till they soften a little, add spices & serve with some lemon juice.
