I sat down yesterday and realized I have spent very few hours away from my loverly daughters since mid August.  Now, I love them to pieces, but it makes 'me time' nonexistent and impossible to get anything done!

So, how do you find time for you?  What do you like to do?

Do you scrap or read or watch movies or .....?

this is so silly, but I tell my boyfriend I need a break. I fill the tub halfway, and then turn on the shower and sit back and relax. The sound of the shower is soooo relaxing, it keeps the water fresh and warm (leave the drain open! or open it occasionally) and it drowns out the occasion thumpings on the door and "mooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmmmmy" that come from The Beyond. LOL Then I just let my mind drift. I would love to be able to read while doing this, but I have HORRIBLE eyesight and if I wear my glasses, they get foggy, plus damp book pages are no fun.

I don't feel TOO badly aobut wasting water because this happens (if I'm lucky) once a month.

I also recently started planning and having girls night with my BFF. It's such a relief to just be...us again. Not mommies. Not partners. Not adults. Just the two goofy girls who met on the grass at the first homecoming of this century =P

ok, I am super lame today.

I will have to try that shower idea! :) Haha! I seldom get away from my girlies.. So even to lock myself in the bathroom for an extra shower sounds good to me!!

I usually take a bath or go to the basement (the dungeon, even though it's finished I hate it down there) and scrapbook.  This past weekend DH gave me a whole day to do my scrapbooking (I also covered doing the laundry while I was down there).  Plus, it gave me ME time and every so often our oldest daughter came down to see what I was up to and to give me some helpful advice  :-)
