This is the group for all scrapbooking moms.  To let every member enjoy this group, please be respectful and follow our rules.

• Please keep all posts polite.  If we see offensive words or derogatory content in the post, we may delete that post without warning.
• If you have a personal question or problem, please send a message to the person.  Don't use our forum for personal messages.
• This group is for scrapbooking moms, so please keep any other subjects away from this group.  This is NOT a place for personal opinions on things outside of the papercrafting realm, this is a place to ask questions, share ideas and get inspiration.
• When you want to advertise your business involving scrapbooking, please follow the advetising rules below.
• Please respect other members or other ways/styles of scrapbooking.  We each have our preferences and opinions.  Exchanging opinions about products/styles is fine, but please be respectful each other. 
• Please do not be negative or derogatory towards others and then cite Freedom of Speech.  It is not applicable here.   Freedom of Speech applies to government and some public arenas.  Cafemom and Scrapbooking In Minnesota are NOT public forums.  They are private groups, you have to be a member to post and by becoming a member you have given up those freedoms in lieu of our guidelines.  While that may sound harsh or elitest, we feel it is in the best interest of the group which we want to be a happy, warm, fuzzy place. 
• Please note that the admin team reserves the right to lock or delete any post that they feel is not in keeping with our guidelines.  Once again, we want this to be a happy place and if we think there is the remotest chance that a post can lead to negative feelings on the part of anyone or violates guideline protocal, it is gone!

ADVERTISING GUIDELINES

• If the post includes ANY businesses, commercials, advertisings, it will be considered an ADVERTISING POST.
• When you post for advertising (this includes for sale or trade personal posts), please put AD: or For Sale: in the subject line. If there is no AD: in the subject line, we'll send you a warning or the post may be deleted without warning.
• If you want to introduce your business, please don't post about it (i.e.  I just signed up for this great company, I am looking to improve my customer base and here's why my company is great, please contact me)....there is a Links area, that is the place for advertising your personal business.  Advertising for crop partys and workshops are also ADVERTISING POSTS unless it's about third party's.(i.e. If you just want to give us informations about Expo or Store events in your area)  These must also be NEW posts, do not slip something in in a preexisting thread.
• People don't want to see meaning less advertising posts again and again.  If  you/your company is  having a special sales, discounts, events, etc. feel free to share the great deal. Please then list the website where they can go to find a local consultant or to contact you for more information. 
• Items for sale are allowed (items that are gently used or your overbought or no longer need) but, please put AD in your subject line.  Please be aware that entering into a sale with an individual is at your own discretion and that neither Cafemom or the Scrap N Moms team is in any way accountable for said transactions.
• Just to clarify: Introducing your business in preexisting threads or in a signature line is not allowed. Post that have an independent website listing will be deleted.  If you have a signature that states you are a consultant of some kind that is fine.  You may also have a link to the companies website, but not your own!    If someone contacts you outside of the group for your website, great.  But, this is not the place to direct them there of your own accord.
• NO BUMPINGS are allowed.
• BOTTOM LINE: This site is for sharing ideas, swapping, challeging one another and asking questions...it is not the place for networking or looking for sales.   

Group Events

• Weekly Topic:  Every Monday, we will give one subject for us to discuss about scrapbook.  Starts this Monday, July 21.  This Weekly Topic post will have a sticky mark.  Please check every week, and reply your opinions!
• Challenges:  Sometimes we need motivation.  Sometimes it's good to step out of your box and try something new.  That is what challenges are for.  THESE ARE NOT CONTESTS.  Please enjoy this challenges!  Starts March 1.  There should be more than one challenges every month, so you can try even one of them or all of them!  Currently we have sketch challenges, colour challenges and Book of Me Challenges (updated biweekly).  Please upload your finished layouts in replies to each post! 
• The page of the week (POTW):  We pick one for each week.  And the page which is picked will be the image of the group (the image on the top page) for a week.  It will change every Monday.  Again, THIS IS NOT A CONTEST.  We will pick kind of randomly, and we will try to put everybody's pages.  We will send a notice to the person who made the page, before we put the page on the top.
• Swaps: Swap is the event that we can exchange our handmade layouts/cards/embellishments etc.  Any members can join a swap, and any members can also host a swap!

If you have any concerns or questions regarding the group or papercrafting in general, please feel free to contact one of the admin.  We each are avid scrappers and all have varying strengths and tastes.  We want your time spent at ScrapNMoms to be fun and relaxing.  Any suggestions you have to make the group better  are always welcome!
