SOME MORE OFFLINE ADVERTISING IDEAS

-Bumper stickers 
- Postcards
-Business cards (Self-Made or VistaPrint)
-Message boards/ Work at home forums
-Free classifieds
-Paid ads
-Bookmarks for libraries
-Inexpensive lapel buttons
-Pens to hand out
-Welcome baby cards for hospitals
-Request 5 mins at the beginning of different mom groups (Mops, Breastfeeding classes, Lamaz classes, etc...)
-Welcome baskets of samples + business card to newcomers in the area
-Community Colleges (lots of moms w/computers there)
-Put a business card in all outgoing mail including anything that has a postage paid envelope! Credit Card offers, etc.
-Under windshield wipers of cards of people who attend your Church
-Sending a pamphlet with a business card with your child to hand out to everyone in his/her class to take home to mommy and daddy (or to each teacher)
-Junk mail with the postage paid envelopes, I send a flyer back to the company and it's free postage! 
- On our light poles are clear tubes for the park owners to put flyers and stuff in

-Window Chalk is great to advertise on your vehicles windows. [Be sure to put it on the inside of the windows.]
-Post fliers on the inside of restroom stalls. They will definately be seen, hehe.
- Make sure you leave info about Your Business on your answering machine or voice mail message

How about "fishbowls". Ask local merchants to display a bowl that says drop your card/info here to win a free gift....(Everyone wins at least a free sample!) I have never done this and I know others could add thier experiences with doing this!

Another idea especially for the Health and Wellness Industry is to have a "newspaper" route to local Dentist and Doctor offices where you leave newspapers or phamplets on the tables in the waiting room.

Where a T-Shirt when you shop! Many business have shirts that say something like: Ask me how I work from home, OR ask me for a free sample.....

Here's 2 more "free advertising" tips:

put your web address on the outside of all your mail (bills, etc.) - it will be seen by the mailman, mail room personnel, and the person your sending it too.

keep some products on hand and when there is a benefit in your area...put together a basket with business cards in it and donate it.
