I see several posts about women looking for work at home jobs.  I thought that we could discuss the pros and cons of working an at home business v. job. 

What do you think?

Home Based Business:
Pro:
-Set your own hours and schedule
-Work when you want to
-Tax write offs!!
-Doing something that you are passionate about!

Con:
-All business require some start up fee
-Does take time to get started

Work @ Home Job
Pro:
-Security of a weekly paycheck
-Make money your first hour of work and every hour there after
-Set your own schedule
-Work in your PJ's
-No start up costs
-No downline
-No team to build
-No MLM

Con:
I have yet to find any - sorry

Home Based Business:
Pro:
-Set your own hours and schedule
-Work when you want to

Con:
-All business require some start up fee
-Have to promote almost 27/7 to find clients or customers
-Many hours & you may never make a cent
-It's usually a MLM
-Building your team or downline
-You don't own the business
-Usually have to push items on family and friends
-You have to be a good sales person


Ok you've all seen my posts about working at home. I have a home based business, I started it myself and I own it. Its not your business if you don't make the policies you don't own anything they can't take away. Most of these businesses are some kind of sales; they will take anyone off the street as long as they have the down payment regardless if you can sell. Why sell a product from someone else when you can find a drop shipper and do the same thing for yourself. Real drop shippers are FREE and provide the products you are already selling - the difference - you keep all the profit.

Today I've decided to write a little bit about the state of this economy and your home based business.

As you all know trillions of hard earn dollars of every day Americans have been lost. Folks are being laid off from jobs. Folks are losing their health insurance...I'm talking directly about salaried workers with GM for starters. Factories and other businesses are closing every day. Times are tough. Having a "job" does not equal "real income" or is not something you can count on.

Having your own home based business is something you can count on. You won't get fired. You can make as much as you put into it. If you don't have a "job" and can't find one then don't worry...work the home based business you have. I promise you if you work your business 8 hours a day...5 days a week you can do wonders! Even if you did half of that.

Yes, you have to work your home business to make $$. You have to do the training that is given to you. Don't blame not having a sponsor.  The company should have training either online or offline. Go the library or read online any info you feel you need to learn. Ask questions of other work at home folks...ask me if you want. I've been around for some time so I don't mind helping you even if you are with another company.
We have to stick together during these tough times. We can get through this together.
