Choosing Not to Vaccinate
So, I've heard all the crap regarding crib mattresses and how bad and toxin-laden they are.
What about those thin little 1.5" pads that are used for baby bassinetts? Is it the same deal with those?
I just assembled a new bassinet for my baby girl (who I pray will make her arrival in the next day or two) and got to thinking about this.
What are your thoughts? Or have you seen any articles or studies that would show me evidence one way or the other?

Just make sure if you do that that its not too padded. The mattress needs to be firm. I am hoping that y the time you read this you will have your baby girl in your arms! |

by ddnkiri on Sep. 7, 2008 at 11:03 AMi wondered .. but regardless of the toxins, they are all "water proof" - which makes it hot and sweaty. i noticed whateer side she had down twas always hot and her face would be a ltitle sweaty. then i thought about certain camping stuff i had that was 'waterproof' and synthetic fabrics. so. i use diapers that dont leak so i figure its not a big deal for me to have a water proof pad. i just have cotton on now.
