We do have to do the gluten free casein free Thanksgiving.  It is not as hard as it might seem.  I just mixed up a batch of gluten free flours so my GFCF mix will be as quick as jiffy mix on thursday for cornbread instead of cresents or biscuits.  I make homemade cranberry sauce ...all it is is sugar, water, and cranberries.  I make my own gravy from the turkey juices and rice flour with seasonings.  I am trying scallopd potatos this year using almond milk...hope thats good.  Veggies are the same as anyone else.  Our son cant have Gluten or casein and I have found I have some issues with gluten as well.

Thanks for the post...going to check it out for somemore ideas!

Okay, help out the moron (that would be me LOL). Gluten is wheat, right? And wheat is bad because......

If white bread is bad, and wheat bread is bad, with what do I make my daughter's bologna sandwiches?

Okay, that was a joke. LOL

But really. Is all bread bad?

First of all....you are NOT a moron!  GLuten is in wheat, barley, oats, and a few others.  There is such a thing as corn gluten but it is ok...lol.  People who are allergic to gluten can eat corn, rice, and potato, tapioca, garbanzo bean.  All bread is not bad.  Some just cant eat it.  Many people are born with what is called celiac disease...others are "allergic" to it due to vaccine injury like my son.  Many kids with vaccine injuries "recover" alot when you take out gluten and casein (dairy products) because their bodies (GI tracts) can not digest these things correctly anymore.   When their guts are working properly their brains function better.  The really cool thing about taking gluten out of your diet though...call it a "side effect"...gotta love that one.... is you will lose weight!!!!

It's not "bad," it's just that some people cannot tolerate gluten. I just found it on another thread and thought it might be helpful. If you need the "help" you already know;o)
