They are giving free H1N1 vaccines during the parent teacher conferences tonight. I didn't know until a few minuets ago because they never sent anything home. I would rather not bring the family into the school while they are spraying this stuff up the kids noses however dh says we have to. I was just wondering if you guys think I should bring the video camera with just in case something interesting happens while I walk by?

They just passed out free H1N1 vaccines last week to the public I cant believe they are doing it again. Its to bad my taxes are buying people vaccines . Does this make me an accessory to attempt with a deadly weapon or something?

  •  I don't think you need to take a video camera... i'd just say be careful if they are using the mist, its a live virus and although MOST people get over the H1N1 perfectly fine it has caused death so just be careful being around basically a bunch of people with H1N1.

  • I forgot the camera. :( Not sure if anything bad happened anyways. Conferences were running an hour late and we were the next ones in so we had to wait by the class rooms. By the time we were done we wanted to go home. I went in the lunch room were they were giving these and they piles the lunch tables around the nurses and such so you couldnt see them. All of my friends were there giving there kids the shot. It kind of hurt my feelings. I wish I has like minded people around here to hang with. Ever since I opened my eyes about vaccination I have felt alone :(

  • I understand that for sure!! When I tell people I don't vax my kids, they look at me like I'm a freakin' alien... Is it that odd to be against something so harmful to your kids bodies? I tell them that I do research and read a lot about it and they say "I didn't know we had a choice, aren't you scared your kids will get sick"? I say "Nope, aren't you scared your kids will"???

  • I feel you.  I've recently met someone that I am happy to be in agreeance with on so many things but some of the stuff she says kind of hurts my feelings.  She vaccinates because they're military and the military discriminates harshly against those who don't vaccinate their entire families.  I don't vaccinate and I'm willing to give up an overseas assignment for my family if it means that they won't have that crap in their bodies.  So, even with friends who I thought would agree with me on almost everything, I feel alone.
