This was on the news here and just thought I'd share.  At first I was thinking "You have GOT to be kidding me!", but they're really blamming, guess what, chemicals poisons, lol, of course, it's in the breastmilk and not the vaccines these poor babies are being given, although, I suppose it could be another source of these toxins since most of these mothers are heavily vaccinated as well.....

I was vaccinated as a child :(. I feel you are damned if u do you are damned if you dont. I breast fed my oldest for 6 weeks and hes fully vaccinated. My middle child wasnt breast fed and is partially vaccinated my baby isnt vaccinated and is breast fed. I take vitamins that pass through my milk so I know hes getting good milk. Im not fond of formula. My youngest is advanced and I feel the reason is breast milk and not being vaccinated.

While I think that this article is a bunch of BS.  I don't believe that breast milk is what makes a person advanced.  My three were not bf (my reasons, I don't feel like getting into at the moment) anyway, all three of mine are very advanced, before we decided to homeschool, my dd's perspective school wanted to label her as gifted...I am firmly against labels of any kind.  I feel my children are like this because we were work them, spend time with them, read to them.  Breastmilk is best, yes, but I don't feel it plays an ultimate role on how smart a child will be.

I agree, don't think that breastmilk is that important for intelligence/smarts etc., that's more genetic, most likely. But it is definately very important for a strong immune system and it is totaly BS, when someone will be worried about toxins in breast milk but not in freaking vaccines, that are injected in bloodtream?....

Breastmilk has more than just immunological properties; micronutrients, EFAs, and an ever changing complex spectrum of vitamins/carbs/fats/proteins to fit a baby's growth needs are all present in BM.  Formula does not have these properties and thus it can be argued does not develop a baby's brain or other organs as BM can.  However, poor diet, high toxin level of the mother, legal/illegal drug use all affect the quality of BM. But in general, breastfed babies do score higher on intelligence tests and develop at different rates than formula fed babies.  As an aside, standard formula is made with pesticide treated plants or hormone treated cows' milk and packaged in plastic or metal containers that leach these same chemicals the article cites are in breastmilk.

This article doesn't exactly cross new territory.
