Im terrified. How can we let this happen? How can people be so ignorant as to think that the Government will do good by us by having control over our Healthcare. All people are looking at is that "everyone' will have healthcare. Are they not concerned about the value of heathcare after this has been allegedly passed? Are they not concerned by the fact that the Government will be saying what procedures/medicines you need or dont need? Or how about the fact that the people who still cant afford the mandatory Healthcare will be fined?
I'm with you! I can't afford insurance and probably won't be within the limit for help with insurance.
i can't agree any more, And to think I have friends who are fighting me left and right on my beliefs and decisions. I might go through m\y facebook friends list and start some spring cleaning. How can ppl be so ignorant. When the holocaust happened, the jews saw small changes, not huge ones and as ppl say oh it's just a small thing why are we freaking out about it... well a bunch of small changes and bam we're in socialism and are told what we can or can't do period.
I would love to be able to afford health insurance if something horrible were to happen and now I will be able too. We don't go to the doctor often (except for the chiropractor) but I would like to have that protection for larger emergencies.
have you researched your source? i do not trust an insurance website as a unbiased source on the new healthcare bill.

say an emergency does pop up (God forbid), do u know that the government will ahve say in what procedure or medicine you need or dont need? What if they deny you something you need? or your child for that matter? We will no longer have that doctor-patient care that we need. People are only focused on the MANDATORY Health coverage POSSIBLY being affordable to everyone. and those who choose not to comply will be penalized.

Seriously? Jeez...
I am not for mandatory health insurance, though I am for a reduced cost government option- but it should remain just that, an OPTION. Something should be done to help those who cannot afford insurance. In this country, NO ONE should have to be forced to choose between bankruptcy and/or losing their home, & paying medical bills. But this seems like a step in the wrong direction- it's just going to screw more people, IMO.

I actually saw this comment in another thread and couldnt agree more.
For all those who have supported this "Healthcare Reform", in a few years, they will be kicking themsleves in the ass...and I wouldnt mine giving them a few kicks myself.
if you choose to not vaccinate, you will not qualify for health care coverage, and if you do not have health care coverage, they will fine you almost 700$ annually. therefor, they can fine you for not vaccinating

ETA- please forgive me! the vaccination -> not qualifying thing was something i had heard, and i forgot to mention that i hadn't confirmed it. the fine for not having health care coverage is a fact though... very sorry for the confusion!
