I was talking to my mother about the vaccines and such. She said I don't get why you don't vaccinate. She continued to say she was tlking to a friend of hers whos children don't vaccinate either.

No, no need for polio. MMR, not just no but hell no. DTP, nope. Not risking SIDS, bc diptheria doesnt exist, pertussis isnt as bad as they say,and tetanus is hard to catch and easily cured. No need for any.

That is until their child is diagnosed with autism, ADHD, etc. It's very sad that we live in a country where people don't care about things unless it happens to them. I have to say though, it seems like more and more people are becoming aware, especially since the autism rates are skyrocketing.
I was interviewing for dy care today and the woman asked me if my LO was vaccinated. I simply said she has all the shots she needs, lol. I was laughing when I said it too. She was fine with that answer. I start watching her son in April.

i agree more people are aware of it due to the mass media playing it up...but the parents who's kid is affected, from what i have been reading, a lot of them don't blame vaccines, and go on to say their dr "told them so" when it came to vaccines NOT having anything to do with the regression of the child. Their dr doesn't believe in any correlation, and has stonewalled the parents into the same belief too...you wouldn't believe how many parents write in about how their first was diagnosed with it, the child regressed after the 15mo shots, and guess what, ?..his sister did the same thing, even tho the dr said, theres no connection....so the cycle continues on for some families who blindly trust their dr, even when horrible consquences ensue from medical negligence. And now whole families have all their kids on some sort of autistic spectrum. And guess what that means? LOTS of profits for pharma...these kids will go a lifetime with pharma care, and pharma knows it.
I hear ya. I have a son on the spectrum. I blindly vaccinated my DD too. Im thankful I met this group when I did or I would have vaccinated my third. I will not give my children anymore vaccines. I am glad that the doctor I have doesn't push. He knows I won't be vaccinating my children anymore.

i should also add that even as most parents witness their child changing before their eyes, within days/hours of receiving vaccines-and the dr denies any correlation-just denial, and there must have been "something" there all along and its just coming out now, cuz the child is older. i say, BS!!!
I would find some research and give it to her (unless you think she is so closed minded that she won't even consider it). I like Dr. Mercola's website because he gives sources for everything he puts on his website. You'll also find info on the NVIC website and Dr. Tenpenny. Of course, some people I've talked to say they're all quacks yet they trust people like Dr. Paul Offit who helped create some of the vaxs and is still making money from the drug companies while being on the CDC Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices. The medical community has built up so much fear about these diseases that even people who are accepting of nonvax families still say, "But aren't you scared your child will catch something and die?" Ugh. It's so frustrating that people won't listen!
