My husband knows we don't vaccinate. I have told him why etc etc.... The other day he is at work and he cut his hand bad enough he was taken to the ER. He never called till afterward. Anyway they gave him a tetnus shot. I was so mad at him when I found out. He said that they said he needed one ever 5 years. I then lectured him for several minutes about how ignorant Dr.s are about tetnus and how it is VERY hard to catch and as lond as the wound bleads you WILL NOT catch tetnus and that he should have refused the vaccine.
He told me he did not know that they insisted and he agreed. He was bleeding so bad that before he could reach the sink at work he had blood everywhere. I am so mad at him and pray he does not have any negative effects from it. Goodness.....
I hope so, too. I hate the way they push the tetanus vaccine, and people think it is needed. You would think medical "professionals" would be more educated on how tetanus is contracted. Linear wounds are not even hospitable to the bacteria. Tetanus lives in poop, people. Stop pushing the vaccines to "prevent" a disease they aren't even at risk for. I think medical schools need to better educate.

"Tetanus lives in poop, people." love how you wrote that, makes me laugh!
I think schools teach it, but the vax companies are so strong that the first thing is to override your brain and just prescribe a vax.

Well, it does, lol. People are scared of rusty nails. Rust is oxydation, oxygen kills rust, so the least likely cause of tetanus is rust. I don't get it. I really don't. Shouldn't doctors know this stuff?

My husband cut his hand on a lightbulb and had to get stitches. He had at least 3-4 nurses/doctors say they were going to give him a tetanus shot, but he kept refusing. One male nurse even said to him he was gonna laugh when my hub came back with tetanus. Very nasty! They don't teach about diseases and vaxes in medical school.
I agree they don't. They are taught the procedure and when to administer but they don't teach about tetnus and how it is caught and the fact that it is treatable. LOL What morons and they go to school to work on us. I don't trust anyone just cause they have some medical degree. I don't care who you are. I will find out if you are right and if you are THEN and only THEN will I let you treat me.
