Some girl said babies need the hep a shot bc they stick their hands in their pants and can infect themselves. Can someone explain how a child that doesn't have hepatitis can give themselves hepatitis? People with hep can spread hep. People without it can't. Did logic miss this chick completely?

that's just dumb. a person can't infect themselves-- even if they have the disease, they can't REinfect themselves.

They thought it was in all poop and the kid would get sick if they contaminated their hand and put it in their mouth. Like the kid didn't have hep but hep just lives in all poop. SMH. No it lives in poop of people with hep.

oh haha i see. well in a way, it was an honest mistake. there are a lot of bacteria that live in poop. but i hope once she was told she was wrong, she realized she was lol
