I really like her and i do feel like it has been helpful. She cured my dd's ear infection once and I have been going since my auto wreck. My problem is that she is involved in an organization that helps chiropractors grow their business. She has high turn over with her office staff also. She will give a treatment plan and it is hard to tell if it is really necessary or if it is just how she makes money (but I know it it working). Ex. I was in a wreck and I got a 1 year treatment plan. I was supposed to be on a once a month plan after a few months but they say I need to keep going every other week. Whenever I have tried to reschedule an appointment the receptionist will say we can't change prescribed treatment how about this time? If I say I can't make it then she will have to consult with the doctor and will say we have to see you by tomorrow, no later than that. They are very forceful about scheduling out a bunch of appointments.
Other ex. I took my baby in for ear infection. She had about 3 appointments for it then I was handed her treatment plan with a 1 yr plan. It consisted of twice a week for 6 weeks then twice a month for several months, then once a month for year. I told her it caught me off guard and she is a healthy baby. I was thinking about bringing her once/month as preventative. She said she needs more than that because birth cause trauma and it is best to do preventative care etc..
So I'm torn! I believe in what they are doing but the high pressure sales is stressing me out.
I am in a small town..we do have another chiropractor..should I just switch? Should I tell her I'm only coming once a month? What do I do if my dd gets an ear infection and she says, "this is why you need to come more often?"
