since becoming part of the family, ive been slowing educating my in-laws about vaccines. ok, well, my mother-in-law and my sister-in-law [who is 13]. my s-i-l doesnt want anymore vaccines, and today is her doctor appointment. so i told her, since her father said she gets to decide now that shes old enough, tell the doctor "ive decided to not get anymore vaccines until ive done more research".. :P lets see if she returns home without any shots!

oh, her mom doesnt even want her to get that one! her comment about the doctor appointment was, "she can get the regular shots but i dont want her to get the hpv one."

she said she wanted to research it more. the doctor said, "i reeeeally recommend you get the boosters...... but i cant make you.. and i guess since you arent sexually active, you dont really need the hpv shot anyway.."

i guess her little brother who had the next appointment skipped out on the shots too! he had gotten 4 a couple months ago at his last appointment. im so curious what they were, but my m-i-l has "lost" the papers. sigh.
