Vet Visit Coming Up....

We are flying to be with my parents for Christmas and taking our dog as a carry-on. We have to have documentation of her health records, which means we need to see the vet soon. She hasn't had any vaccines since I started researching them and I'm sure she's "past due" for some. I just feel terrible that I have to do this to her just so we can take her with us. :-(

It's hard enough to fight the system when not vaccinating a child... It's downright impossible with a dog. No documentation, no flying. I'm sure there's no way around this, but I thought I might as well post and see if anyone has had a similar situation.

I would find out what you have to have from the airlines and not get anything but what's on that list.

it could be she just needs a rabies certificate....like the pp said, call the airlines and ask what the policy is, or see if it's online, so you're not told a lie by a rep for the airline.
