Varicella and pregnancy.

I just noticed this yesterday!  I didn't realize there was any reason to be concerned with my son having the Varicella while I'm pregnant.  I just didn't want him to get it, period.  The "doctor" noted that I'm pregnant and was still pushing the Varicella on us.  One of the reasons they push Varicella is because of the theoretical risk of chickenpox to pregnant women, right?  There's NO proven risk of it but they use it as a reason to vaccinate so pregnant women don't come in contact with the virus.  Varicella causes shedding!  It spreads the virus!  Did the dipshit not think that with me being pregnant that my son shouldn't have the vaccine so he wouldn't give me that theoretical (to them, real) risk?  WTF?  I swear, the don't know anything and it is sad when he's supposedly been trained to be a pediatrician but I'm just a SAHM and I've learned more in the last 3 days than he has learned since training!  GRR!
