This is from another group.  Has anyone ever heard of an ORAL DTaP vaccine?

"thanks for all the helpful info ladies, i hve done a bit of searching and also have joined a gropu to help me talk/ learn more from other moms about vac's. i did have him get one shot when we went and also had the oral Dtap, i know how much concern people have about that one but we chose to give it. i did ask lots of questins and my dr was willing to do it at my pace.  with all the talk and concern about  not vaccnating  after he had gotten his shot i started to feel sick to my stomac like i had just made a bad decison, i felt bad like i was doing harm to his body i plan on doing more research to help me prepair for the next round.. thanks again for the tips, links and questions to ask. also for not bashing me for my choice to vaccine my child. :)"

the baby likely got rotavirus orally, they don't routinely use the oral polio in the US

I would post and say:

"There is no oral DTaP. The only oral vaccine currently on the CDC schedule is the Rotavirus. To my knowledge, all previously available oral vaccines have been live virus vaccines (like the OPV."

That just is more proof that parents have no idea what their babies are getting. Sad.

Yeah she most likely meant the rota virus vaccine.. That's what I think is a sad thing about alot of pro vaccine people, they claim they have done research and thoroughly talked to their doctor about it but they don't even know which vaccines their children were given!
