Well its official we are on vacation and monkey has the chicken pox lol. He is 21 months old and not sure where he came down with them at. We have been to the lake and park so probably one of those. He is miserable and fever has spiked at the highest 103. We weren' going to take him the ER but that happened and we had no choice in the matter. HE is Epileptic and the Motrin/tylenol at the same time even wasn't working. they gave him a stronger dose and We got lectures from the triage nurse, the doctor, and his nurse it was hilarous. IF you had him vaccinated like you were supposed to then this wouldn't have happened. We don't see this anymroe cause people get their kids vaccinated and ETC. I was like whatever. Its just hte chicken spots (the name we have for it for my neice who got the chiecken pox FROM her vaccine lol) He isn't sleeping well and is itching a lot but we are handeling it. I have never had them, so i figure its a matter of time until i start getting it. Oh well, i am happy he doesn't seem to be doing to bad with them. So far so good as i say. Because of the reaction he had to his shots when he was four months old the common cold could turn deadly for him so we are keeping our eyes open for anything that is potentially bad. But we are good so far. Keep your fingers crossed that it doesn't get any worse andhe doesn't have to go to the ICU for it. I Hate the ICU's up here they totally suck! The pic is from a few days before he got sick
Aydian is doing much better. The chicken pox are all but gone, and honestly it wasn't even hard on him. He still has the runs but other then that we are 100% better from the C.P. I thought it was going ot be much worse, but it wasn't and i am so glad he is better. And that it wasn't hard on him.
Too bad you aren't in San Diego vacationing...My monkey could use some chicken spots. :)
Next time someone says that to you say, "Oh, then obviously you did not treat my niece who got the Chicken Pox FROM the vaccine."
Oh i have before, and i was told it wasn't possible and that she had to have already been exposed to them, etc. Which is utter BS since she had never been around anyone with them and had only been around family no strangers at all before she got the shot...They are full of BS

Quacks! It's a LIVE virus vaccine. Why else do they prohibit those recently vaccinated with live vaccines from visiting immunocompromised patients.

my friend's niece just got chickenpox from getting her shot, she gave it to her brother and now my (28 yr old) friend has them. she had them when she was younger too. so basically one vaccine caused (at least ) three cases of CP....might be more depending on where the kids went when they were contagious!
SO many doctors and some people are so ignorant about the shot stuff it is irritating almost like they have NO common sense and cannot put 2 and 2 together you know?
Anyhow, MY niece got shingles from the chicken pox shot...and I'm telling YOU I would definitely rather my child have chicken pox....GRRRR....the shot is what has spurred a number of children getting shingles...once only known as an adult illness!!!
