  • I do them, but I also have a non-vaxing doctor, plus they are covered 100% by our insurance. If I had a pro vaccine doctor I am not sure that I would, why relive the fight every time? Really the appointments are not necessary if the baby is growing and isn't way behind on milestones. Though I enjoy and almost look forward to ours, I always have some general health questions that I am curious about, and want his opinion. He loves kids and will play games with ds while we talk.

  • My 2 1/2 year old hasn't been since the 6 month visit, when I got fed up with her pedi practically yelling at me about not vaccinating.  The only thing he did was weigh her, measure her, and listen to her chest.  We do see a holistic chiropractor when I feel the need.

  • i was actually going to ask the same question. my dd is 5 1/2 months old and has only been to a dr when she was 2 weeks old. (she had a 103 fever at 4 days old and spent 3 days in the hospital. they told us to take her for a follow up when she was 2 weeks.) i feel bad sometimes bc i don't take her. but she is on medicaid and there aren't any good dr's in our area that take medicaid and don't harass you about vaccinating. i'm at a loss.

  •  I don't do them.  Imo there is no reason for a perfectly healthy child to go into a doctors office full of germs.  My kids have been to the dr. 2 times other than a few times when they were sick and they always ended up getting sick after going.

  • I am not really worried about them getting sick from the doctors office. Since we don't vax the more germs they are introduced too, the stronger the immune system will become.

hmm, never thought of it that way. :)
i just dont want them to be around kids who've been recently vaxxed and get something from that.

Me, too. I keep getting letters in the mail about how I should take him, but he is just so healthy. I'm not going to take him unless he's sick. He seems happy to me.

Its not needed for us to go to well visits. We go if really sick, but most things we go to a holistic chiro or I treat at home.

I breastfeed child-led style, I had my baby with a midwife and any children I have in the future will be born at home, I wear my son in a sling everywhere we go and sometimes at home, I use cloth diapers because they are cheaper, cuter, and healthier for my precious baby boy I think all babies have a right to live and grow with the body they were born with, I dont belive vaccines are safe or beneficial. Im a single mom doing the best I can with my life and my sons life.
Dont call me a hippie unless youre trying to give me a compliment!
