by rockstarmom2b on May. 30, 2007 at 8:15 PMwe are using lamaze techniques and natural Doula techniques. My mom is reading up on a doula's practices and tasks to try to be my birth doula. I have complete faith in her as well as my husband, we have a birth plan which DOES NOT include an epidural. I want to experience my contractions, labor and birth of my child, no matter how painful. Now, that said i know it's a stretch saying all this, with this being my first child but pray for me girls! |

My husband and I have found us a great midwife who is going to deliver our baby naturally In water with no epidural. I want my child to be as healthy as possible! But we also have a back up plan for if thing's go wrong because you never no.

by AngelEyes624 on May. 31, 2007 at 4:12 PMWell for starters my god mother has been a midwife for about 8 years and she now has 5 kids and one boy on the way! I would have loved for her to have delivered my baby but will be delivering around the same time. She's Had all her kids in water and she loves it!! |

I'm 33 weeks and planning on going all natural. Origionally I was okay with having an epidural (but in the beginning, my boyfriend was going to be at WLC for the Army around my due date!). Luckily, my boyfriends uppers pulled some strings and got him into the school early. He's gone right now and will be back in 2 1/2 weeks. My mom went through 32 hours of labor naturally - if she can do it, I can do it!

I'm not going to pretend, I'll want drugs no matter what lol, I'm not a stickler for pain, and well, i'd rather not want to think about that right now, >.<

I definitely want to try a natural birth without all the meds. I am scared because of the many horror stories, but I am going to try my hardest.

I want to try to go with out meds. My husband know's I am a puss, but hey it's worth trying right. I just want it all to go by as fast as possible. I don't want anything holding that back. But don't think if I can't handle it, I won't ask for a little bit of pain reliever!!
