how quickly did your baby gain weight??

our baby is not quite 7 weeks now and he was over 14lbs a couple weeks ago! he's been gaining like crazy and looks like the typical 6month old lol.

my son was 10 lbs and 1oz at birth, he's always been growing fast and continues to be much bigger than kids his age, so get used to it. My son is now 2 and wears 3T stuff, thats a year difference!

i just posted this in another topic but mine was born 8lbs 12 oz, lost almost 2 pounds in the first two weeks, and now at 5 months shes 23 pounds 30 in long!  i guess i would have to say she is a big baby!

My baby is 7 months now and well over 25 lbs.  but he's short.  He was 8lbs. 5 oz. at birth and he was still under his birth weight at 3 weeks.  He was hospitalized for Failure to thrive.  Now he's a big boy and nobody believes that he was ever a "failure to thrive" baby.  He was 8 lbs. at 5 weeks, so he's gained quite a bit.  I'd say he's a big boy. He weighs exactly the same as my 2 year old.

Everyone thought my baby was 6 or 7 months when he was only 3 or 4 months cause he was such a big boy. LOL

Also he's now outgrowing all of his 12 month clothes.  I thought I had my babies just perfect in the same season so they could share clothes, but unfortunately that's not happening any more.
