About Mom's Touched by Adoption~

I created this site to lend support , advice and a "place" to feel connected. I am adopted and I have known all my life that I was. I have a wonderful loving ,caring "adoptive family". I truly ended up where I should be. I was raised with love,honesty and "never" treated any differently ...because I am not a "blood "relative. I feel very blessed. I am very lucky and proud of "all" my family.
This time last year my biological sister and birth~mother "found" me. Their search lasted a full year and a half and resulted in us meeting last summer. I have an older biological sister and 2 older biological~brothers and an older " brother in my adoptive family". We email,chat on the phone,and have met twice. We "are" learning to be connected.I feel blessed to have them in my life now. I have a multitude of emotions and thoughts in my heart and mind~but at least (most)all of my questions have been answered.
This site is to connect all "us" mother's who are either adopted,have an adopted child or may have placed a child for adoption. This is a place to feel safe and share our experiences openly. adoption is not a bad word~I am a mother to a beautiful baby girl now 21 months....she looks so much like me and this is a wonderful thing.
