Every November I do this writing challenge (to write 50k words in 30 days). Last year I wrote an Angel fanfic and I'm currently finishing it up before November rolls around and I have to start a new novel.

UNFORTUNATELY, as I was typing this ff.net went down. Like literally. I had just updated something and was looking at my stats, came here to type and when I went to go find the URL for the story the site was down, lol.
Anyway, the story is AU starting at Connor's birth and follows the gang as they try to deal with raising Connor, getting rid of Holtz, feelings for each other, Cordy getting married and leaving LA...all the way to Angelus making an unwelcome return that threatens to tear apart the very fabric of their reality. Can they really survive it all?

This is my 5th year doing it. Last year is the only year I've won, though. It's an epic long story, too. When I printed it out it was 128 pages and I had a lot lef to write. It's now up to 140 and the end was mostly unfinished at the end of the contest (still made it past 50k words).
I had only published the first 13 chapters and it was already pushing 20k. Stupid fanfiction.net.

Just an update on the story. It's...mostly...finished, lol. I made it all the way to part IV but I had to stop working on it because I have to write my novel for this year's contest.
That's actualy 34 chapters at ff.net for those that want to read it. It's very long and there is still more to come but I don't have time to work on it now. But I will finish it.
