Watching Serenity on SyFy right now. I love this movie.

I turned it on and then missed the whole thing, lol.
My husband had just gotten home from work and was flipping channels and he's like, "Serenity is on" and so was Jurrasic Park and about a million other good movies. But he started watching Yes Man and I hadn't seen it. Then we started discussing this book I'm writing and next thing I know Serenity was over, lol.
Luckily I have it on DVD (although it's still in it's orginal shrink wrap).
I did get to see one of my favorite scenes, though...River going crazy in the bar and kicking the crap out of Jayne. That was awesome.

Quoting Slieurance:
That is a great scene.
I see that you are doing NaNoWriMo. How is it going? I thought about doing it, but I could not think of anything to write about at the moment. Maybe next year. I hope it goes well for you.
I know it is just awesome. And then Wash's comment: "Start with the part where Jayne gets knocked out by a 90-pound girl 'cause... I don't think that's ever getting old."
I forgot I also watched the scene where Inara calls Mal. I love the how the rest of the crew watches and then he goes up there knowing full well they were listening in and Zoe asks him, "trap?"
Except the edited TV version seemed to skip the part where Kaylee says Inara might just want to see him and he asks her if she heard them fight. Or maybe one of the kids distracted me at that part because I don't remember it.
Anyway, yeah, I'm doing NaNo. It's my 5th year. It's going good. It's the first year I've written an original piece. Last year I won with an Angel fanfiction (which is almost finished, had to stop editing and finishing it because NaNo started again) which is posted at ff.net (the link is here in this group somewhere).
We're just past the half-way point and I'm at just under 30k words.
