$500 Toadily Slammin Gift from Cafemom & Gemvara

I was toadily shocked a couple of weeks ago when I opened a message from Cafemom! CafeMom and Gemvara gave me $500 to customize my own jewelry on gemvara.com and asked me to write my honest opinions!!!

It's taken me this long to decide exactly what I was going to get! Since there was such a large variety of jewelry, I just couldn't make up my mind.. Sooooo.. Instead of choosing for myself, I decided to get something for my best friend, my daughter! I had her go to gemvara.com and pick out several pieces that she'd like to have. She had as much trouble as I! lol.. After hours of surfing the site, she finally nailed it down to 5 different pieces of jewelry.. My task was to choose one from the 5.. Again, they were all so beautiful that I had difficulty choosing which piece I was going to get her! lol.. Below is a picture of what I chose..

The ring shown is sterling silver with a blue topaz stone and two diamond accents. I customized the ring and am getting it in 14k white gold with the blue topaz and diamond accents.. My daughter loves white gold & blue topaz so I chose to change the metal but not the stone. I could have gotten it in yellow gold, rose gold or platinum with an emerald, blue sapphire, black diamond or several other stones! This is going to make a great Christmas gift!!

I truly love the gemvara.com site! I had a blast looking at the jewelry and playing around with customizing the pieces I liked! There's just so much you can change on the original design! Customizing the pieces is so simple! Every piece of jewelry on the site can be customized to fit your style and budget! They even have a ring sizer you can print out to find your perfect size!

My only complaints with the site are that there's just so much to look at there's no way to see it all (lol) AND I really wanted a Mother's Ring but could only choose 2 different stones and I have 4 children.. alas! waaahhh..I found quite a few rings that would have been a perfect Mother's ring if I could have chosen 4 different stones! Oh well.. I've waited on a Mother's ring for several years.. I'll just continue to wait and hope gemvara.com adds some! lol

I also was able to speak with a couple of gemvara representatives over the phone and was impressed with how courteous and helpful they were! If you've ever seen a piece of jewelry that you'd love if it were just in a different metal or contained a different stone, you really should check out the site! You can "build" your own jewelry and get it just like you want at a great price!

Thank you so much Cafemom and gemvara.com for gifting me with $500 to customize a beautiful ring for my beautiful daughter! I just know she'll have tears of joy come Christmas!
