In Toadily Grand Slammin Profiles (TGSP), we have 60+ tutorials that our members use to help them with adding all sorts of things to their Cafemom page.. These tutorials are available to members only but... I've decided to release a couple of these tutorials to all members of Cafemom! These are © to me and may NOT be copied and shared!
Since everyone loves siggies (it seems! lol), I've decided to make my signature tutorial available to all! The following tutorial explains how to add a signature to your messages on Cafemom! If you'd like to know how to add a signature to Yahoo, Hotmail or AOL, you'll have to join TGSP to view those tutorials!
Cafemom Toolbar Signatures...
With
the Cafemom toolbar, you can add up to 10 signatures to use on your
mail messages and posts. With the toolbar, you can carry your
signatures to Yahoo, Myspace, etc.. To download the toolbar, click here.

1. Click on "privacy + settings" at the top of any cafemom page.
2. Click on "Signatures".
3.. Click on "add a rich text signature"
4. If your signature is animated, save it to your computer and upload it to photobucket.
5. Once the signature is in photobucket, copy the "direct link".
6. Click on "add a photo" and then on "paste a url" and paste the direct link in the "paste a url" box. Insert.
7. Make sure your signature is named, set it as Cafemom default and save.
Adding a non animated rich text signature...

2. In another browser window, click on "privacy +settings" at the top of any cafemom page.
3. Click on "Signatures".
4. Click on "add a rich text signature".
5. Copy the html code of your ticker and paste it in the empty box.

7. When the signature comes back as code, click on "edit" and save again. It should come back with the ticker.
Adding a ticker to a signature (using the url)...
1. Go to an approved Cafemom ticker site and create your ticker.
2. In another browser window, click on "privacy +settings" at the top of any cafemom page.
3. Click on "Signatures".
4. Click on "add a rich text signature".
5.
Copy the url of your ticker. Click on "add a photo" and then on "paste
a url" and paste the url in the "paste a url" box. Insert.
6. Make sure the signature is named, set it as Cafemom default and save.
Adding blinkies to your signature...
1. Save the blinkies to your computer and upload them to photobucket.
2. In another browser window, click on "privacy +settings" at the top of any cafemom page.
3. Click on "Signatures".
4. Click on "add a rich text signature".
5. Click on "add a photo" and then on "paste a url".
6.
Copy the direct link from photobucket and paste it in the "paste a url"
box. Insert. If you're adding more than one blinkie, click by the
blinkie and then repeat step 5 until you have all the blinkies you want
added. (Tip: If adding different size blinkies, group them according
to size so that your signature appears even and flowing).
7. Name the signature, set as cafemom default and save.
There are actually a couple of ways..
On Cafemom, you can store up to 25 signatures and switch between them.. You do this by clicking on "privacy & settings" at the top of any Cafemom page.. Next, click on "signatures" on the left of the page.. This will take you to the Signature page on Cafemom.. Then just follow the instructions above for adding signatures to add up to 25..With the Cafemom signatures, you'll have to change your signature manually when you want a new one displayed..
What you may be referring to is the Siggy Rotator.. The Siggy Rotator automatically switches your siggies.. There were several sites that offered this free of charge a while back.. Most have started charging for the service due to the workload it puts on the site.. I did a search and found one that's free.. I can't recommend it because I've never used it. I'm just putting it out there for you or anyone to try.. If it's a great site to use, we'd love to know so we can recommend it to others.. Here's the site: http://sig.grumpybumpers.com/index.cgi
Once you go to this site, just create a username and password. After doing that, a new page will appear where you'll enter the url of your images.. This means you'll need to store your images in Photobucket or some other photo hosting site.. Then just enter the direct link of the images.. When you run out of slots to put the urls in, just hit submit and the list will expand so you can add more urls.. Not sure how many this rotator lets you add!
Hope this helps!
