Hi. I'm Jamie. I've enjoyed CCM for as long as I can remember. I began singing in church at age 5, so CCM has always been around my life. I would get away from CCM, get into more rock and pop (which I still enjoy). Once I had kids it was CCM all the way. The kids love it. We have a great family friendly CCM station here called WIBI. You can listen to it on the Net if you don't have a good station near you.

I'm Holly, 24 y/o, and I love Christian music! I started listening to CCM probably when I started NYI at church (Nazarene Youth International aka "teens"). I've always listened to the CD's but since I moved about 3 yrs ago we listen to KLOVE now all the time. I love it!

Wow!  Where to start?  My husband and I have been in the Youth Ministry for the 9 yrs that we have been married.  We both had a huge love for music and because we were now working together with the youth we wanted them to have a love for Christian music and realize that Christian music was not and is not meant to be an alternative.  We created a CD Library for them and when we left last yr. to start a new ministry the Library had over 600 christian CD,s(ones they check out to this day)!  Praise God  When we started the only groups they really knew of were Audio A and Third Day.  They are great starters but definately not the end or all of Christian music!
God is the creator of music and when we as adults start to realize it and listen to the variety that is out there and offered then our childeren will listen to it and prefer it as well.  Sometime the kids will know of Switchfoot but yet have no idea that they were a Christian band because they didn't hear of them until they crossed over or became popular on the top 40 cecular charts.  If we introduce christian music to others in the variety that it comes in and share the passion that we have for it just think how many people will catch on to it like it is the newest thng even though it has been out there for a long time!  Again Christian music is not meant to be just for Christians.  It defeats the purpose of it if it is.
