Anyone else getting more snow today?
We already have over 2 feet on the ground and they are calling for another 8-12 inches today! The roads are still a mess and not drive-able..
We are FINALLY getting some snow! I am gonna stop after work and hopefully (if the stores still have them) get some snowpants for the kids so they can get to building a snowman!!!
Yes ! Im in Northern VA and we're suppose to get anywhere from 10 to 15 inches by the time this storm has passed! The plows havent even come to dig us out of my neighborhood yet , its rediculous, I thought paying hoa fees meant they hired plows lol ! I am enjoying the snow , my little one is loving it !
Yup we are expecting 6 to 12 inches, unless the wind shifts directions and then we will be looking at 18 to 24 inches on top of our current 15inches. There is a parking ban on many streets to allow for plowing, so they opened our parking garages for free parking. This is a wonderful idea, however the people that park in the ramps then get stranded because our buses are going to shut down at 5:35 pm. You guessed it free parking starts at 6!!! So, people have just left their cars parked on the streets, only to be plowed in!!!
I know i wasnt aware of this 2nd snow storm, when i went grocery shopping.I only got enough to make it through the first snow storm..I still have a little food here, but im running out of drinks,And i really dont want to drink water for the next couple days!!lol Our roads arent plowed either!

Thats what im worried about...The electric going out, we had alot of power outages in my state also, Luckily i wasnt one of them.
OH!
They just had a government person come across all the local channels...saying Not to expect the roads to be plowed for atleast another 72 hours, because they have no place to put the snow!!
The 2nd snow storm just started! Oh man its getting scary lol, I hope my roof doesnt collapse, theres like 18 inches of solid ice on top of it!
