I owned my house when I was with my Ex, and chose to sell after he moved out. By chance I found a 3 bedroom house up the road from where it originally was, and this is a private rental property through the landlord directly - There is no middle man with real estate.

It's a 3 bedroom brick home, older (built 1973) with a large backyard, and a large garage with carport. It has a one way cycle air-conditioner (cold) with one bathroom and a toilet located outside the house (but attached to it). You get access by walking out the backdoor onto the patio, and then a door to your direct right is there to go in. I've been here now for 11 months, but truthfully I'm sick of having to run outside in the dead assed cold during winter and there are stacks of bugs, spiders, cockroaches and insects around as I live at the foot/valley of a set of mountains.

I pay $1,000 a month, no utilities included. It is also close to schools, transport, Uni, College, and walking distance to a set of shops and recreational areas (football field is directly behind my house). When I move in with my Mother I won't have these luxuries with everything so close. But I miss my childhood suburb which is 20 mins away :( I will have to pay more in rent there though.

I live with my dad and he owns the house. I grew up in this house.

I owned a mobile home for several years and then bought this house, it had been a sheriff's sale and was 12,000. We have been here since 1997. It's not much of a home but it's mine.

My two kids and I stay in a one bedroom apartment. I like it, I would like bigger but it will do for now.

right now I "rent" from my mom... she moved into my gramma's house 2 years ago... when I lost my job and all she let me take over everything at her house... of course that came with drama since she made me allow my brother move in...

I recently applied for public housing.... I'm hoping I can move soon... I can't deal with living in this damn house with the drama and bullshit!!
