What degree are you going for, how long is the program, and how long do you have left?

I'll be starting this fall (yay!!) and going to school for  Administrative Medical Specialist with Medical Billing and Coding + Medical Terminology

It's a 2 year degree if I go full time, the whole time.

After much deliberation I am going to school for Court Reporting in July. It is a 2 year program and will be my second Associates.

September, Bachelor of Arts. It's a 4 year program. I want the 120 credit degree instead of the 90 credit hours. I want to major in English and become an English teacher, perhaps Junior High, since high school kids are assholes sometimes and talk back, lol!

I am not sure whether to do that 'cause I plan on going into teaching or social work. I haven't made up my mind, but both fields are after-degree programs only, so I have to take a B.A before I can go into the schools.

I am going for an Associates in Human Services and have 2 semesters left (after the current one is finished), then I am off to get a Bachelor's in Human Services with a certificate in Social Work, which will take another 2 years of accelerated study.

Hate to tell you but the middle school kids are even worse than the high schoolers. You could not pay me enough to teach middle schoolers.  I am looking at counseling adolescent drug and alcohol abusers though.  Middle schoolers are moody, disrespectful and think they know everything.

Where are you planning on going to school? I will be getting the social work certificate right along with my Bachelor's degree. No separate program.  I just have to take a state test after completing the degree in Human Services.

LMAO. I don't mind them, I guess I'll find out when I do my training program.

And it's probably just a different social work program in Canada. I could go right into social work in September but I won't be able to take any other courses except social work courses. I like variety, so I'm just gonna take arts first.

I go to the U of Manitoba.
