Breaking up & sleep regression (baby's sleep)

I recently moved into my own place with DS. I have noticed that bedtime has been the time that he is showing difficulty and I assume it is because we are in a new place without his other parent.

Few questions:

Did anyone else experience this transitional period w/ regards to sleep?

How long was the transition?

What do you do?

Last night took over an hour to get to sleep. My son usually just goes to bed, plays with his animals and goes nini so it is breaking my heart!! (He is almost 2 y.o.)

Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

I would say start a routine and stick to it. My son gets a bath and books every night then it's bedtime. He usually stays up to look at his books or play a little but he stays in his room. I've done the same routine with him since he was a baby and he's 5 now so it works for us. You just need to find what works and be patient - it might take a little while for him to get used to the new living situation.
