Did you keep giving your childs father a chance to be a daddy or did you just take matters into your own hands and dealt with the sitution of the childs needs yourself?

At first I wanted him to be involved but he was too busy... After a few months though he realized what he was missing out on and I agreedto give him a 2nd chance at helping to raise her and 6 years later he is still a great dad to her

I'll be giving him a chance, but my expectations are very low.

I left the door open for him to be a dad but I didn't keep calling him reminding him he had a kid

i gave him chances. i did NOT follow hima round begging him to be one.

one thing i did do that i shouldnt have is let him fool me into doing most of the travelling. i finally nipped thaqt shit in the bud. guess what? he sees them rarely now. oh well its his loss.

i just wish my 13 year old had a more active father, then maybe he wouldnt be turning out the way he is. i partially blame myself for being a dumb fucking kid and having kids too young w a half ass.
