For those who have half sleeves, how much did it cos? I'm looking to get one, and just trying to get a feel for prices. I'm gonna go to my tattoo shop today but they don't open til noon so I thought I'd ask here.

I don't have a half sleeve, but ex is a tattoo artist and I have a lot of tattoos in general. First it would depend if it was full color 1/2 color or just b/w, and how much detail but the price should range you anywhere from $700 - $2,000....depending also on the quality of artist you get....If the artist charges per hour I wouldn't go to anyone who charges less than $100/hr jmo (unless they are just opening their own place....they cut the prices down to get new clients) and half sleeves on average take about 8 hours....depending on detail of course....hope this helps!

My hubby has a full colored sleeve with extreme detail. It cost him about $1600-$1800. I'll post a picture in a min!

When you do a sleeve, either half or full, they charge per hour. It can be $100-500 an hour, depends on the artist, design, detail, color, etc.

Thanks ladies. I would love to see the pic. I think it's just gonna be pretty simple. Skull, some flowers, an awareness ribbon. It's still all coming together in my head right now but that's the concept.

Yea I think I'm just gonna do a lotus flower in color and the ribbon in color and the rest black and white. Still not 100% on that yet. Have to see what the artist says today. Ohhh im excited :)
