Been doing this on my own for about 6 months now. Just moved into a new place last week, and I cant find m son's daily folder and his daily book. Because of this his teacher hasnt sent home any more books and homework. I feel horrible. I have checked everywhere but I couldnt find them. I was late picking him up from daycare got hit with a fat fee! Then when we got home about 7ish my ds tells me that their Vday party is tomorrow and he needed cards and treats. We run up to target and got the box of cards even though I planned on making home made ones that I saw on Pinterest. After we get home my son then tells me that that they werent supposed to buy cards they had to write every friend a note. By this point it was already 9 pm. So he didnt write any notes and he will be bringing store bought Vday cards. I feel so horrible. :-(
When his dad and I were together I worked part time Mon-Sat 9am-1pm. so I was on top of every school assignment, but now that Im working full time its becoming a little bit harder :-(....I have to do better.
Don't feel bad. I was suppose to bring stuff for my son's Christmas party and I texted the teacher asking if I needed to bring the drinks and she said no. I show up for her to tell me the party was the day before. I felt terrible. Then I forgot to pack my daughter a lunch for a field trip. It is hard!!!! I am in nursing school and only a few more months left so you know what.....I do my best to stay on top of it until then. We will all benefit from me having a great job with flexible hours. Good luck and don't treat yourself too harshly. xoxo
Dd was star of the week this week, aaand I was supposed to write a story.. I never got around to it and I feel awful.. :( I overslept this morning and wasnt even able to throw something together this morning
i sent my kids to school without breakfast one day ..it was half day so i had to make it and forgot it..the teachers gave them a treat ..and the vday card deal ..i have 3kids ..that 40 something cards ..so my kids will just sight Thar name from ..and just give em out to friends.don't beat ur self up..we are human .
Hugs. You just moved? No wonder you're having a hard time. Did you tell his teacher this? I totally get it, believe me. I had to cancel a job interview because I forgot the art festival my son's school was on the same day.
