Depressing

I am finding the thought of Valentines day quite depressing tonight.  I am single once again and have been for the last 4 years on Valentines.  YEs, I know it is a commercial holiday, but I am a die hard romantic and love the whole lovey dovey thing....sigh.......................

I'm the same way, except I have been single for about 2 months. I hate it. Valentine's Day is officially a very stupid holiday.

hey my bf broke up with me yesterday. he was talking all excited about valentines day just over a month ago and asked me for the address at my work. talk about depressing!

I understand how you feel. It's only been barely a year since splitting from my ex. My daughter is 18 months old, and we are still going through the Child Support battle. It's innerving and worse because our anniversary is Valentine's Day. I have a horrible attitude toward Valentine's Day, but I'm trying to remind myself that my daughter is my Valentine. The best gift I've been given. Still..., yes I'm lonely. No one  to buy me flowers. I see people leaving the store with teddy bears, chocolates, flowers and everything else and I do just feel plain bitter. My daughter and I deserved so much better than that. We both have to keep our heads up. We'll find someone someday. Until then, I just might ban it! LOL!!

My break up was a week ago Sunday, on our 11 month 'anniversary'. I was getting the boys valentines gifts out and found the cards for my exbf. Ugh....

Yep I sent him a valentines care package which he will be getting sometime this week. I feel real bad. And his sister and now his mom are writing me on fb. They're upset he ended it. Oy

It used to bother me when I was in school bc I never had a Valentine but now it doesn't. I look forward to the things my kids make me.
