Let's say Romney wins the Republican nomination and it's between him and Obama.

Who would you vote for and why?

FYI: NO BASHING

LET ME REPEAT. NO BASHING.

I think that the Republicans are making the division of the govt. worse. From the beginning repugs had no desire to work with Obama to make the world a better place. It was all about getting him out. They have not compromised on anything. They have spent the last four years trying to make Obama look bad and in the processes made themselves look like complete fools.

Obama. Romney is a joke, his whole campaign has been about bashing others, NOT about the issues.

The whole notion that Obama could fix 8years of Bushes fuck ups in just a few years is BS.

People bitch because they don't have health care, now they will have it and they are still bitching. First you want health care then you don't! Wtf!?

Unemployment has gone down and jobs are being created. People are spending more money, sign of the economy getting better.
Everytime time Obama tries to do something good. Republicans vote against it. Republicans are still caught up on health care. What about jobs? What about the economy? Their only focus is getting Obama out. NOT about what's better for the people. Republicans are only out for their own pay checks.

I don't buy into the whole "big brother is trying to take over the world!" I call Conspiracy theory BS!

I think no one will ever be happy, people always want more.

I said most of that and you wouldn't believe how many times I got bashed for my opinion yesterday

You are lucky so far. When I got up yesterday I had nine quotes All people bashing me because of my opinions abeout President Oboma. I'm voting for him in November. In my opinion he hasn't had time to fix this country in the three years he has been in the White House. That's just my opinion

I agree people expected 8 years of damage to be magically fixed in the 1st year. That's just not possible.

I never ever said I am anti abortion... In fact, I am pro-choice. I also have a DD with disabilities and my ex and pay her way. Her OT, PT, and ST run close to a grand a month alone.

And you did not explain why taxpayers should be paying for your child.

Quoting Sat.Wed:

I PAY for my daughters healthcare your just a bitch take away her specialized medicaid that is ONLY used for her cath dupplies, braces, medicine, and doctor visits YOU personally are NOT paying for my daughters medicaid I AM it comes out of MY paycheck thats how MY state runs it, and you take awsy the help the disabled NEED then what? your anti abortion so whats YOUR suggestion? I WORK my ass off for MY childern I am NOT some welfare person you know what WE dont quilfy for foodstamps, CHIP, Section 8, etc... So tell me where YOU get off DENYING my child health care she NEEDS to live!

Quoting 5BMom:

I don't mean to sound harsh, but why is it MY responsibility to pay for YOUR childs healthcare. Please explain that to me in detail, becausr I don't understand it at all.

Quoting Sat.Wed:

So the disabled shouldnt be taken care of? there are 56 different Medicaid programs theses were around WAY before Obama, take away my daughters SSI that I PAY for, and her specialized medicaid and she has NO coverage, she was DENIED coverage when I was 18 weeks pregnant with her. and umm Obama did NOT enact the Patriot act after 9/11 Bush STOLE alot of our rights under the guise of Homeland Security, YET Bush couldnt get Bin Laden, hmmmmmm.......

Quoting 5BMom:

Thats Food Stamps, is it not. Persons on disability alone have increased something like 5.4 million. People on unemployement have increased a net of 1.5% (give or take). Medicaid numbers are up.

Quoting Chanel5nyc:

Nope

Actually, more people ARE on welfare.

Quoting Chanel5nyc:

I disagree. I don't think America is becoming communist. I believe people should get vaccinated, before vaccines people were getting measles, tb, etc. People complain about not having health insurance but get mad when Obama makes you get health insurance. Damn if you do, damn if you don't. Taxes and welfare been around way before Obama. Blame the welfare problem on Bush. Actually less people are on welfare compared to Bush.

Quoting 5BMom:

Romney. If Obama gets re-elected we may not have an election in 2016. We are headed the way of China, a socialistic communist state. As it is, the government is increasing its oversight of citizens every day. From telling us how to parent our kids, to forcing us to have health insurance, to mandating vaccinations, to robbing peter to pay paul. Taxes violate our rights. The Department of Education is unconstitutional. And Obama wants to increase the governments reach, while Romney wants to decrease it. I personally am offended that my hard earned money pays for social programs for others. I resent paying for someone elses food, when mine can be a struggle.

Tax payers are NOT paying for my child, I am my childs specfic medicaid ( NOT supplemented by the feds.) comes out of MY check I am PAYING for BOTH my childern ( ds is double covered because ex pays on ds's indualvial(sp) child plan through BCBS as well as I have him on my insurance I get through work) dd's insurance is paid for by ME through the state no federal money is or ever has been used for my daughter, it all comes out of what I pay the state in taxes every paycheck and Im sorry a $1,000 a month is a drop in the bucket BUT I am going to be thebigger person and NOT play one up menship, I know my state taxes pay for MY daughters insurance because the state auditor has SHOWN me EVERY year when I file my federal and state taxes, so NO YOU are NOT paying for my daughter I am. Same with her SSI I am paying that as well snice it goes off MY income and what child support she recives, What I make this month affects her check in June, etc..

If you don't pity the poor, best do what you can to keep your ass out of that situation. You are, afterall, in a single mom group.

Think statistics.

I do not think the poor should be pitied...and I agree they need help...i give plenty of money to private charities (food bank, shelter for abused women, wounded warriors, red cross, etc...). It was never intended for the government to take care of the needy.

On the note of giving, I also give to political candidates. I attended a Romney fundraiser at $400 a head last August here in town, then decided to support Newt, became his central idaho coordinator, gave him money...and now will back Romney. I have also run for public office and am doing so now... And am dealing with law changes in my State. I work hard to initiate change...I don't just sit on my ass on CM and bitch and moan.
