Lazy rich people!!!

Posted by   + Show Post
The house closest to me (about 100 feet higher than me and 300 feet away) is pretty big...just under 7000 sq feet. The people are super snooty. I just took my dog out (its still light here) and I looked up the hill and they had their fricken landscaper filling the bird feeders! At 8pm!!! In his uniform. Are you SERIOUSLY that lazy??? I don't get people.

I like birds but I'm afraid of heights and won't get on a ladder, if I put it too low the kids or the dog mess with it. DF won't do it and my gardener doesn't mind.

Why have bird feeders if u dont fill it urself? Just a question. I mean to me thats fun and peaceful.

Quoting HIJKLM:

My gardener picks his hours. He provides his employees uniforms. He refills my bird feeders. He charges an average rate (not highest, not lowest). I treat him well and he treats me well. You don't know the whole story... Maybe those people are happy to do something so small for a reasonable rate.

Quoting PeninaK:

Your visual accuity is impressive when you can spot a landscaper filling bird feeders 100 feet above you and 300 feet away at 8 p.m!

Well if he is a landscaper that is most likely part of his job.

Chanel5nyc, the more I read your posts this morning, the more I'm liking you. Lol

Quoting Chanel5nyc:

"Hired help" hired to help.

Hiring someone to help doesn't mean a person is lazy. It could mean they are too busy to do it theirselves. Hiring someone boosts up the economy.

Sounds like you are a little jealous of someone who could hire someone.

Quoting Sat.Wed:

If you can have "hired help" then you are wrll off and LAZY because Ive NEVER had "hired help" as you call them like they are ONLY around for you they are REAL ppl NOT robots

Quoting PeninaK:

Some people want nice grounds and visiting birds without having to do the dirty work themselves.  Nothing wrong with that.  It is not unheard for landscaping to include upkeep of bird feeders and waterers.  I disagree that it is necessarily an indication of laziness.  Besides housecleaners and nannies, I have paid help to handle certain other tasks that some people may judge as laziness on my part. To clarify, I am comfortable, not what I would consider wealthy.

No problem! When I think of the rich, I think they are the opposite of lazy, read a quote once that I really liked.
A pessimist see's the glass as half empty, an optimist see's it as half full and an opportunist drinks the water.

I totally agree.

I've heard that quote years ago and love it.

Exactly! You don't get rich, or stay rich by sitting on your butt all day complaining about what others have and what you don't. Most people have to work their asses off to get there....and then work even harder to stay there.
