My daughter is telling me a story. And of course she has to give EVERY detail. So I tell her to spit it out. This got me thinking. Whenever she was younger and I would tell her to spit it out, she would literally spit on the ground! LOL! It's only funny now, back then not so much. I know your kids do crazy stuff too.

I tell my son to spit stuff out all the time cause it will take him 30 minutes to ask a simple question!

Yes! It can be something so simple.

"Weeellllll, first I need to tell you were the color pink comes from.....

10 days later. I still don't have an answer.

That's my six year old to a t.

Today I asked, how was your day at school?

He goes, is cooper coming over to play? When are we gonna see josiah? How come you are tired? What's the baby doing in your belly? Why are we going to the new house?

Kid....just answer the freaking question.

And he asks me all these questions without giving me time to respond.

Hahaha!  At one point I told my daughter, "you talk too much." She retorted back with, " I'm a girl, that's what we do!! Well... not you mom, but most NORMAL girls."  My 8 year old apparently knows everything ;)
