So I babysit this little gurl that loves to cry and throw tantrums and y'all know how I deal with tantrums..right now in my house we only have a living room TV and ill let her watch her show for a good two hours n then we take turns.. me and my mom try watching something else but when we change it she throws the BIGGEST TANTRUM and she wont stop I offer food, coloring stuff and she wont stop she jumps hits screams and cries soo hard idk what to do..I'm not going to Chang the channel cuz she throws tantrums that wouldn't be right what do I do! I try talking to.her but she won't listen ( she's 3)..if she was my child she wouldn't even be acting like that..and ofcourse. I can't spank her she's not mine..but she drives me insane sometimes

2 moms liked this
Try taking her outside to play or playing a game with her.
Ask her mom for advice on what to do.

Its too cold for outside right now and I'm also trying to deal with my baby..and I think she acts like this at home to and her mom does nothing about it..and im pretty sure as soon as she cries her mom gives her what she wants that why shes like this

Have you tried ignoring her til she stops and then try talking to her? Thats what i did when i watched this 3yr old who was seriously out of control

Tell her mom you can no longer watch her.

I would explain to te mom that you are going to try some different techniques for a week or two and if things dont improve then you wont be able to watch her anymore.

When she has her tantrums just put her in the corner and walk away... dont give in to them dont fuss at her because she is ilkely try to get attention anyway... she will get up and try to get out of time out and you will hav eto put her back in over and over again until she stays there for a solid 3 min... then her time out is over.... the biggest psrt is you haveto be consistent......which is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hard sometimes

Wow yeah her parents are clearly doing something wrong. Maybe try just not letting her watch tv at all so there is no transition to have a tantrum about
