How many weeks were u when u went into labor ??

      Just curious ladies how many weeks were you when you went into labor for your first pregnancy?? Did you get braxton hicks prior ?.... what were the signs you were going into labor ?.......how long did you stay dialated till you went into labor ? I'm 38 weeks and half  and was dialated 1 cm  and thinned out on my cervix 70 to 80% last week  but still not in labor just wanted some advice to get an idea when it will happen

At 38 weeks I was about 3 cm and 70%. I ended up being induced 10 days prior to my due date because I had been leaking fluid for several days but had no contractions. That is the one part I would like to avoid next time.

I was 38 weeks but I had to get induced because of high blood pressure. I was on pitocin for 8 hours and nothing happened until they broke my water at 9pm. around 5am the next morning it was time to push. I pushed for 2 hours and she wasnt coming out so I had to have a c section. At 8:43am on july 23rd,2011 my life changed when my beautiful daughter Gracelyn Joy was born!

42+ with my first ds, 39 with my dd, and 40+1/2 a day with me 2nd ds. Had bh with all. Lost mucas plug with all. Membranes stripped twice with dd. Water broke 12 hours after the 2nd time. Dilated to a two and thinned 2-4 weeks before all of them. Water broke first with ds1 and dd. Labor for 5 hours before the midwife broke my water with ds2. !4 hours an 4 pushing with ds1, 8 hours and 4 pushes (twice for her head and once for each shoulder) with dd, and 6 hours and 20 minutes of pushing for ds2. 9lbs, 5.16, and 7,2 respectively.

41 weeks, no braxton hicks, but I did wake up that morning with the urge to mow the lawn because it was shabby and my inlaws were coming.  I mowed the lawn that morning, started contractions that night, and she was born the next day.  Every baby is different and I think there really isn't any way to tell.

Exactly 40 weeks. Right on my due date. No Braxton hicks.

28w4d the first time, 30w3d the second time, 32w6d the last time. I had DS the next day, at 33 weeks exactly.

I had braxton Hicks from 34 weeks they induced me at 38
