My sweet baby girl (who will be nine next week..omg!!) was upset Sunday. I didn't know why..I kept asking her what was wrong. She kept saying nothing, so I figured she was in one of her funky moods. My daughter is adhd, has early onset bipolar and she is hitting pubety..so I was thinking she is in a funky mood. Little did I know..that wasn't the case.
I was going though my texts to clear them out. I see my ex's number. Now his number is not in my contact list. Some how my daughter found the number. I had the number hidden in my room, it was in my dresser. I think she went in my dresser to get her earrings and seen it. So she texted him "happy fathers day" and then asked when was he coming to see her. He never answered!! She kept texting asking him to please text her and why wasn't he speaking to her. No wonder she was so upset!!
She kept telling me she was texting my dad..which she does all day every day, she will also text my sister, her cousin.
So I got really mad that he didn't even say thank you for her saying "happys fathers day"...omg what a jerk!!
So I texted him and said this: Just because you are pissed you spent four days in jail, means you should be mad at me. I turned you in. Not (my daughters name), so if your mad..take it out on me because I dont give a shit..
Of course he never texted me back..so I guess for now on..I will have to check on my duaghter while she is using my phone..I took his number and tore it up and threw it out..i know the number by heart now so there is no use in having it in my dresser.
THis is what I want to do to that jerk..

sorry thats awful! The worst part about awful BD is when they hurt your child because of the tension between you and him. Hes a jerk to take it out on her. Just remind her you love her maybe take her out of school early one day and do a surpise mommy and me day to cheer her up and get her mind off of it. I have adhd and depression so been there done that. Just always be calm and understanding with her. My biggest struggle was getting in trouble for things I didnt understand because my mom had no patience. My sisters didnt act like that, thats not how she raised me, I wasnt trying hard enohgh. Thank god for my dad bc he was always calm and if I messed up and got in trouble hed be like "you think thats bad one time I...." Id laugh and feel better always. Good luck and hug on your daughter extra for me!!

Your ex is a jerk. And, I also like your spinning little yellow guy. That's what my ex deserves, too.
IF he wants to get involved with his own child he has to make the next move. Your DD didn't deserve to be dissed.
