So.I am watching the tryouts.
It's gym tonight.
There is a girl whose name is Gabby.
Her parents divorced and her dad has been MIA for 2.5 years. (I will excuse 6 months of that since he was deployed but the rest counts.)
However, he is now sitting front row cheering for her. Holding up an American flag.
On the floor, she seems unphased by it.
I wonder how she is feeling.on the inside though, how she is handling it behind closed doors?
I feel for her. That has to be .tough.

My ex wasnt around for.4 yrs, showed up this year and went to a few soccer games....would cheer and say "thats my boy. I taught him that." Other parents would look at him like wtf...who are you! My son would barely acknowledge him after the game.
