Ok, I posted last week that DS was diag with asthma. BD doesn't agree. well today I found out that he went behind my back (again) and took DS to a differrent Dr. even tho it states in our temp CO from mediation that DS will stay with the current pediatrition and that both parties agreed...

i can not wait till court in Aug!!!!!!!!! I seriously want to pull my hair out from this stupid person I don't even want to call a man.

oh and then he tells me that I must immediatly remove my dogs because DS health is more importnant becaue BD "thinks" DS is allergic  to them... sorry but all this has been going on before i got the dogs. and it hasn't gotten worse...

I fucking hate him... their is more to the story with him, but I just don't feel like going all out.

thx for letting me vent

You agreed that he was allowed to seek a second opinion. Now he has and you are pissed? That makes zero sense.

As for the dogs, pet dander can cause asthma to get worse. So whether he is allergic to the dogs or has asthma, its probably in his best interest if he doesn't have a pet in the home right now.

Take him to an allergist to rule out allergies and be done with it.

like i said their is more to the story...

Dr gave a refferal to go see a specialist to know 100% if DS has asthma or not... he refused to take him their but just to a diff Dr... I don't understand that logic. Now that I have DS back I will be taking him to the specialist, then their will be no question about it. I asked the Dr if we can get a skin test done for allergies... BD says it's not necessary... but I'm still going to do it to rule it out or know for sure.

so yes I am pissed because he's only doing to be an ass hole.

I am... just got DS back tonight we are going on Tuesday. BD doesn't think it is necessary, but obviously it is if he's going to try and force me to get rid of dogs we have only had for a short while. DS has been on a breathing machine since he was 4 months old off and on, he had phnemonia at that time.

What do you think a 2nd opinion is?

It's an opinion from a different doctor, from a different practice.

Not a specialist. A specialist is a specialist.

As for skin testing, I am with bd on that one. It's painful and completely unneeded.

You can accomplish the same thing with a blood panel to test for allergies. Much less painful.

So you would rather take your child from dr to dr... i don't understand that logic... why would I want to get OPINIONS when i can know EXACTLY whats going on with DS? You are insane.

i'm sorry, you make no sense. And as for the skin test he doesn't agree with it for the same reasons as you.

I think you just need to step away from this one.

That's exactly what a second opinion is!! Taking the child, or person. To a separate doctor and practice to gain new theories and insight on the situation.

Just because you believe your doctor is right, doesnt mean bd does. He obviously doesn't.

You agreed to the second opinion. Now you are pissed cause that doctor came up with a different theory, which is completely plausable.

Aw that sucks! It's so hard to "co-parent" successfully when the other person creates a drama over everything. I hope it gets better.

Omg. Second opinions are fine I do trust my Dr. She saved his life when Ds was little. Do I trust her opinion yes I do bur I want facts. So please explain wasting time and money by going to another Dr that can only offer another opinion? Why not go straight to the specialist to get an exact answer. And no I'm not pissed he got the second opinion I'm more pissed. That he didn't inform me and invite me to go. I always do for him. But he refuses to meet ds Dr and now claims he doesn't like her, after never meeting her and saying that he is going to change primary care Dr now. That's what I'm pissed about.
