Hi everyone im a single mom with 3 lovely daughter. Lately things have turned for the bad for us. I lost my job, house, and car all in one month tops. I havent been able to provide for them like i use to. And there is no one i can go to for help. So here it is: Im considering putting my daughters up for adoption. I would love if anyone could give me information and advice on this matter......
hmmmm...There is ALWAYS help for a single mom with kids. Don't give up your heart darl'in...You will never recover...The things you have lost are just things...Go to a women's shelter...They can give you all the right information..This is a HUGE decision and really not what I would do...There is ALWAYS an answer...Just don't give up ...
Don't think that you need to give your daughters up for adoption! There is help, if you don't have a supportive family!
First, you contact any women's shelter that isn't specifically for abuse victims, contact local churches that are within your county. Contact Department of Social Services; explain why you are contacting them call/they can mail out or send someone to you the application items or go to the dss in the county you live in. Take the last 3 months pay check stubs, take monthly rent, receipts for food/childcare that you may have. They have housing, they have affordable child care, they have assistance with food. There is also crisis control in each city of every state. Then go to some temp agencies, place your application or contact the unemployment office.
Do not give up there are services/businesses willing to help those in need!
Good luck, I am here to talk/vent if you need to.
Welcome, and I agree!

Hi and welcome to the group.
Yes, there are many places for single moms to get what they need. Go to/ call the nearest Welfare office to start.
