Keep on eye on staples. They have awesome deals on supplies. Thankfully my kids don't go to uniform schools so I don't have to worry about uniforms.

I am sooo glad I don't have to buy school supplies and clothes this year. I used to dread it every year. My youngest (a pregnant junior) is doing virtual h.s. so we dont have to go through all that anymore.
I want to make friends

Hello, I am new to this site but I got here because other mom gave me the idea. I have a dilemma with my 10yr. Old daughter. We moved to another area last year and I had to move both my kids to a new school. My son (14) is doing fine in his new school BUT my daughter has been having a hard time coping with her new classmates, she had made one or two friends but she says and complains that kids are not friendly and she gets bullied all the time because she is overweight. I am working on keeping her active and keeping her old friends around her and even letting them sleep over so she can feel better about the transition but she complains everyday and cries she wants to return back to her old school which she's been at since kindergarten. I don't know what to do, we are Latino and her new school is mostly Asian so I think this is why she's been feeling a lil wierd and cannot cope in this new environment, maybe the culture,, the friend grouping etc. please help....any ideas? School is about to start over and I'm undecided and stressed out...thanks
